Epitalon
Epitalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide (four amino acids: Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) derived from the pineal gland. It's one of the most researched anti-aging compounds, studied for 35+ years by Russian scientist Vladimir Khavinson. It works at extraordinarily low concentrations to activate telomerase and extend cellular lifespan.
MECHANISM OF ACTION
Epitalon activates telomerase enzyme at extremely low concentrations (10⁻¹⁷ to 10⁻¹⁵ M) to maintain and extend telomere length — the protective caps on DNA that shorten with age. It simultaneously stimulates melatonin production from the pineal gland and modulates gene expression through epigenetic mechanisms, creating systemic anti-aging effects.
